Geopark Entrance Ticket
This ticket gives access to Chamarel's 7 Coloured Earth Geopark, home to Mauritius' most iconic natural sites. Follow the path to the viewpoint overlooking the island's tallest waterfall, then continue to the rainbow-hued dunes, endemic garden and Aldabra tortoise park. Take your time in each space for photos, quiet reflection or learning. Stop by the Viewpoint Café for a coffee or fresh sugarcane juice and visit Dunes Boutique for locally made items to take a piece of Chamarel home with you.

Accessing the Geopark
- By car: Purchase tickets at our convenient drive-through booth. It's a 1.5 km drive to the waterfall and 3 km to the dunes, with parking available at both locations.
- For adventurous walkers: Enjoy a scenic 3 km walk from the main entrance to the dunes, passing the viewpoints overlooking the stunning Chamarel waterfall. The full round trip is a 6 km trek.

- Start by downloading our mobile app at the main entrance to explore fascinating stories about the site's geology, fauna, and flora.
- After purchasing your ticket, keep an eye out for educational panels along the left side of the road during your drive.
- First stop: the majestic Chamarel waterfall. Take in breathtaking views from two incredible viewpoints.
- Continue to the geopark to discover the famous coloured dunes, our adorable Aldabra tortoises, the Dunes Boutique, and our viewpoint café.
